COLT (Canadian Outdoor Leadership Training) is now in its 30th year offering leadership training for future outdoor educators. Started by Strathcona Park Lodge & Outdoor Education Centre to train instructors for its own programs, COLT now offers three 100-day semesters each year. Students split there time between land and water activities, including mountaineering, sea kayaking, canoeing, white water, rock climbing, navigation, snow & glacier travel and more. Once students have completed the program, COLT & Strathcona Park Lodge also offer an outdoor education practicum to give students real experience in the outdoor field.

COLT brochures have a complimentary design with Strathcona Park Lodge and WYLD Expeditions, while each maintain their own colours and different target audiences. In general, COLT targets outdoor enthusiasts in their 20s looking to pursue a career in the outdoor and tourism fields. The design of the brochure was kept streamlined with bright accent colours to offset the stunning adventure photography. Pedersen Creative has been designing COLT brochures since 2004.
