The Federation of Mountain Clubs of British Columbia is 23 mountain or outdoor oriented recreation clubs representing most regions of BC. Their membership is made up of a variety of outdoor enthusiasts sharing an interest in the preservation and protection of the mountain and forest environments of BC.

The FMCBC and the Alpine Club of Canada worked together in funding this brochure to bring awareness and promote preservation of Mount Arrowsmith, a popular recreation area on Vancouver Island. The brochure features historical and ecological information on Mount Arrowsmith, along with a topographical map with popular approach routes.
